Every year google reveals the Zeitgeist list which reveals information about the most searched items in the internet.
"Zetigeist" means the spirit of times and google reveals this spirit of times through its search trends.
Let's peek into the 2010 zeitgeist list .This year the most searched items include Facebook,YouTube,eBay,Hotmail etc.Some of the top hit searches were Chatroulette( which is about video chat),Apple ipad,Twitter,gamezer etc.Celebrities like Justin Beiber,katty Perry and cheryl and Ashley cole gained lots of attention.Haiti Earthquake stayed on the top spot for a long time.In the Food and Drinks category Masterchef gained lot of attention and was the most sought after item.

Obama's Costliest Visit to India!

US President Mr.Barack Obama's visit to India would be one of the costliest visit so far in history.Can you believe a whopping amount of about 900 crore Indian rupees which is nothing but 200 million US $is to be spent by US for Obama's stay and security in India.Since Obama's stay is planned in Mumbai-where the most popular terrorist attack took place 2 years ago,more security precautions are being taken to make the whole trip a safe and a memorable one.

Some of the spending facts are:

1. Presidents stay is planned in Taj Hotels where whole of 570 rooms are booked in advance by US team for security purpose.

2. Most Security personnels have already arrived in Mumbai for inspections.

3.Its also noted that 0.5-1 hour before the Presidents aircraft lands there will be closure of  city's airspace.

4.Inter State police and Indian Navy are on high vigilance patrolling the seas to make sure everything goes fine.

5.The place from Taj hotels till colaba will be completely guarded for security reasons.

all these and many more for an amount of  US 200$ million.Is it worth a visit? Only time will tell!

In the past few years I see traffic is getting increased a lot, despite of many flyovers built in place. This post was not written to bring controversies or I am not going to blame any government or an individual here.  I somehow believe that accidents are self controlled ones. How about a thought of an individual that I will never break traffic rules that, I will stop when yellow signal asks to stop! Hold on there :-)

tanks :-)  rather we wear, drive always in straight lines instead of sudden lefts and rights, Avoiding Drink and drives, etc

Let’s think if the whole Chennai follows the rules for one day, I am just wondering how much of accidents might get reduced.

There is a sudden increase in haze in Singapore today since it hit the country last Saturday.This is due to the SouthWest winds that blows the smokes from the fires in the Sumatra Island.NEA-National Environment Agency said that the PSI-Pollution Standard Index is increasing steadily and it has reached above the standard mark.It is noted that the PSI in Singapore has reached the 84 mark which is considered bad by the NEA.The Satellites have detected more than 100 hotspots in the sumatra region.Due to this haze the most popular landmark of Singapore-"The Flyer" is almost covered and the city looks misty as though its a snowy region which its actually not.

Angry Birds Crossed 1 Million Downloads in a day!!

     "Angry Birds" is a video game more like a puzzle which is developed by a developer named Rovio based in Finland.This is the most sought after and has become the most popular video games in all smartPhones like iphones, Android and other touchscreen based mobiles.

       Ever since Rovio released the beta version of Angry Birds on Android its popularity grew big time and when everyone was expecting that Rovio would release the full version of Rovio FREE on Android,there came a twist in the tale.

        Rovio ditched Android and made the full version of "Angry Birds" downloadable for free through 'GetJar'.All Angry Birds devoted players hit GetJar to download the free version.But unfortunately many of the users were disappointed as the website went down because of the load.It had hit 1 Million downloads in the first day of its release,which made it the most popular mobile games so far.Rovio has also tweeted that the numbers just went upto Two million after its first day release.Wow! Now that's what I call a craze for a game.

GoodBye Fade and Bleeding colors!

So here are few tips and solutions to get rid of fading colors and bleeding colors in your clothes

1.Fading: To avoid fading of colors never wash your clothes in hot water.
Always wash it in cold water and that too make the dress inside out and then wash.

2.Bleeding: If you think the colors may start to bleed(i.e spread)
then hand wash them and don't wash it in washing machine.Take a bucket fill it with water and add some rock salt to increase the water pH, you may also add vinegar to it.Now wash it lightly,you can see that the colors are in their place.

3.Grease: To remove the grease on cloth sprinkle any of the baby powder or you can use corn starch.This will absorb the grease in your clothes.Then you can wash it off.

4.Chewing/Bubble Gum: If this is stuck to your clothes then no worries,simple solution is to take an ice cube an keep it on the other side of the cloth where the gum was stuck.Now try to rub 
the ice and scratch off the gum.It will be easily removed.

5.Lipstick marks: You can use vaseline or any other petroleum jelly to remove this off.

Yeah that's how I have named today(thursday)as.It's a sunny day today but just to make it rhyming I named it as Thunder Thrusday(TT). So,what is today's(i.e Thunder Thursday) topic and the solution? what are you expecting?what topic would make my blog readers sit straight and get glued to the system? Well,right now I am wearing a bright yellow and red flowers mixed synthetic salwar and it just reminds of the most searched after topic which involves colors,clothes,fade,bleeding etc. Keep guessing I will post it for you in some time.

Get That NAIL POLISH REMOVER!

Since I am in a mood of writing,I present you with another useful solution that women may love to hear and offcourse to an extent, men too!
Did you know that your nail polish/paint remover contains either diluted acetone or ethyl acetate.
Now this particular chemical not only removes the nail paint from your nails but it does some wonders too.
Scroll below to know more!

1.Use your nail polish remover for removing paint stains from your 
clothes,glasswares and steel plates.
2.If you have scratches on your wrist watches dab some nail polish 
remover in a cotton and gently rub it on the lens to remove it.
3.You can also use this to remove paint marks in your mirror or
in your cupboard. 
4.Any paint marks in wood or glass this should work absolutely fine with 
no harm in removing the marks.

Be Careful!
Don't try to use an excess amount of it to your nails as it may
dry your nails.All the above said items should be handled with care
and make sure you don't end up pouring nail polish remover to make the stains/marks disappear. Anything in excess is really harmful.

I was thinking for sometime as what could be my second post after having written my first post.
As I was thinking,I just remembered what my mom said about the old gold ring which I was wearing.
Bang!!! Idea!!! and I thought, Man! why can't I write about this?
I present you with a quick tip.Read below to know more.

If you think your gold jewels like finger ring,earings and anklets have become dull and has lost its shine,
then don't worry you don't have to spend much money on it.You can do it in your home with the essential things that are available in your own home.Follow these simple steps to get it done

1.Wash your gold jewel with warm water and wipe it with a neat cloth.
2.Take a regular white toothpaste which is a mild abrasive
(not the gel kind or the one with whitening agent)
 and a toothbrush with soft bristles. 
3.Apply paste in the jewel and rub it off mildly with the toothbrush.
4.You can also use a mild liquid detergent instead of toothpaste.
5.Once you are done with cleaning,then wash it off with water and
clean it with a neat cloth.
6.Now,that you are done with cleaning,now you can flaunt your sparkling 
old gold jewellery.

How do I do it?

Wash your hair with a good shampoo,use Loreal expert Liss Ultime 
for better result.
Then don't forget to condition it,which is the most important part.
Use Loreal expert Liss ultime conditioner.(You cannot find this in local 
shops,visit your salon or make-up products shop to buy it).
Leave in the conditioner for 5 min and then rinse it off with water.
Towel dry your hair and go for a fine hair serum. I use the body shop's
GRAPESEED hair serum. 
I simply love it because it just knows how to give your hair the shine and silky touch.

PS:
Most of the top-notch salons rely on Loreal and Schwarzkopf products as they are the best known experts in hair and care.I have used both and my vote is for Loreal for its smoothness and fragrance.Well,body shop also offers you a lot of products and this hair serum definitely works wonders(atleast for me it did ;) )They are many other products which might just do the trick but this is what I have experienced and what I have found.
